Learn to bake challah with Rochie.
Challah baking class on Thursday evenings once a month!

The dough will be prepared beforehand – this will be a braiding session only (with some baking and eating as well!)
The Challahs that are prepared will be baked for Shavuot at the IYYUN Center for the entire community.
Come and Braid and Bake with Rochie!
It will be fun and informative – and if you’ve come to a previous challah class – this is a great opportunity to refresh your braiding knowledge, and learn some new tricks!
Each person will take home one challah to share!
Instruction will be hands on. You will get a chance to make a challah dough from scratch and learn to braid a traditional challah. You’ll make your own challah that you can take home and impress your friends and family with! We will also discuss the significance of Challah and explore the beauty of the Challah baking tradition.
Classes are small and by reservation only!

Your reservation means that a space is filled – as space is very limited in these classes, please be considerate of others and if you need to cancel your reservation – please do it within the week – so I can fill the space with another person who wishes to come. There are always people on the waiting list who will be happy to fill your space – I just need to know in advance so they can be notified. Thank you for your consideration.
