IYYUN will prepare for Shabbat with a Musical, Instrumental Kabbalat Shabbat – Led by Mattisyahu Yisrael
It is an old tradition that goes back to ancient services, playing instruments and singing holy psalms as a way to prepare for Shabbos. With waves of heart-expanding music, the congregation would welcome the Shabbos Queen with awesome mystic joy. Just before the setting of the sun, the musicians would put away their instruments and all would enter the peace of Shabbas together.
